A Brief History
The Willowman Festival is the brain child of Steve Williams who has supplied stage, sound and lighting for a vast array of bands, tours and other festivals up and down the UK.
It is described as a Boutique Festival based in the “Heart of North Yorkshire” at Knayton Just off the A19 near Thirsk.
The intention was to create a family friendly event with an eclectic music mix of music and dance and family entertainment.
Gaining momentum over the 9 years the Willowman Festival was renowned for a great safe family weekend.
After Covid and The Willowman is back for the 10th Anniversary over the weekend of 18th – 21st June 2026 on the same site at HRAP Knayton YO7 4AH.

What to expect in 2026
We will be holding the event from Thursday evening till Sunday with all styles of music, some old school some new and up and coming artists.
We will have music to make you dance from Ska to Reggae to Rock, Blues and country and DJ’s.
The Willowman Arms Bar will be selling Real Ale as we have done in past years, Lager Bitter Gin and all other brands of cocktails and soft drinks for the kids.
Arts & Crafts – There will be arts crafts and storytelling form several street of entertainers.
Food & Catering – The Willowman will be hosting several Street Food catering stalls with a selection of Worldwide styles food.
Camping is available along with a limited amount of space for
live in vehicles – We have a limited amount of space for Campers, caravans and live in vehicles.
